Hey Bluenose,
First of all. Congratulations!
For those who are not fully funded, we offer a general Fudning guide on our FindAPhD.com site here - http://www.findaphd.com/student/funding/funding-1.asp. You might find this a good starting point. More specifically, we are also offering our own scholarships so you might want to take a look here - http://www.findaphd.com/student/funding/postgraduate-phd-scholarships.aspx
It's hard to give a full answer on what and how much you can do with 1GB data. Most phones have a 500mb limit (half of 1 GB) so you have more than most people. However, i wouldn't advise going mad with things like streaming video etc as it will eat up your allowance. If you are using it for email, Facebook, surfing then you have more than enough but just keep your streaming down. There are free apps to monitor your usage so you can get an idea of where you are with your usage if you think you've used a lot.
With regards to Wifi, that's different and doesnt use any of your mobile data - if you have wifi at home/work then get the passcode as most phones default to wifi where possible and this will stop you using all your mobile data too.
Completed to the best I can.
Although, the questions from the point of a house-cat owner are quite hard to answer with the options you offer as answers. Cat management does still apply to me but the answers I could choose from didn't always apply.
If it helps, the main choice regarding keeping the cats indoors is related to breed temperament and character more than anything. Health reasons is also a big factor.
Interestingly, we got a second cat as company for the first cat from Cats Protection. Although we had already decided to keep that cat as an in-door cat, the home-visit person who came said that due to the location of our house, they wouldn't have let us have the cat if we were planning on letting it outdoors because of a 'main' road being in close proximity. This is a road which is, in my opinion, way far enough away to worry about and also, not that busy a road.
Have you tried our FindAPhD.com site? You may find some defined PhD topics that match your research interests. You will find that in many cases the admissions teams take the enquiries and are probably in a better position to get your questions to the academics (or try answer themselves, depending on the specificity of the query).
Hi guys,
I've checked this on my macbook in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari and I am not seeing anything unusual. Is it something that is looking like it shouldn't or is it that you just dont' like the fact that it is not moving with the page?
