Found Relevant Mistake while making PhD correction
G

So, I was going through the (minor) correction of my PhD, and I have realised that a test I've run on a previous version of my data now yield a completely different results which partially change my conclusion. This is something I should have checked well before, a rookie mistake, and now I am wondering what to do as my examiner explicitly asked for that test to be reported. How much trouble can I get in by correcting a mistake which alter the conclusion?
