I created an excel spreadsheet and had a column for the author, date, design, findings, limitations etc. It took a while to set up but was worth it in the end.

I dont suppose anyone could recommend any 'easy to grasp' books on longitudinal mediation. Unfortunately its not in any of my SPSS books such as Andy Field and Pallant.
