If they have how likely is it that you will obtain a place. I knwo people doing MAs in different fields due to wanting to do a PhD in a different field but don't you need a diploma instead?

Right people will tend to get funding for 3 years and then self-fund year 4. Can this be done in reverse?

Yeah so i can get that in my second year for 3 years even if i'm registered on a programme. In addition, could I do 1 year of a phd and then apply for department funding for the other years?
