@MoonBlue I suggested she can solve the problem by Involving a Mutual Friend. Def It is her Choice. Involve the Supervisor if you have any Sympathy with that Guy, That will actually make him feel Stronger about himself. He must have been feeling Bullied. I Apologize if you have misunderstood me and being mistreated. If that continues I will def will never come in this forum again...
@BennyHill Do not try to Gang Up and Repeat My Mistake that Others had already Pointed out That Would Portray You As A Bully.
@KeenBean That is No Way an Insult To Anyone But A Disease in Society Needed 2Be Cured. It is ur choice which way you take it.
Sorry Phdbug! I was def referring to the Santa down there bearing strong resemblance with your name. I was just putting forward a possible Compromise/Option.
Sadly, in Today's Society There Are People Who Assume They Can Get Away Using & Abusing Other People. The Ones Who Use Others As A Ladder & Play With Their Emotions Selfishly. That Annoys Me Very Very Much. Definitely I Am Not That Guy..LOL. I Have A Courage to Live With My Weaknesses Without Blaming Others...There Are Few Here Who Do Not Even Know How To Discuss Matter Like Grown Ups and Bring Personal Stuff :-( Like PHD_BUG
@KB OK Nevermind...He seems to be a Nice Blike 4U, One day not very far from now you will be someones gf/wify not just for his happiness but 4urs 2. Then why not that guy..you liked him despite all the warnings, he wants to be with you, you are both destined to b docs..bright future aye ;-) What are you scared off?
@KB OOPS let me Print your thread on a Laser Printer and Lay it Across my Table to Have Another GO..
I am Still Sure I did Not Assume...;-)
Sarah, I have felt that Punctuality wastes me time. I hate working 9-5 as well. There could be days when you did not have a nice sleep last night but have to stick in the office just to fill in the blanks. As my supervisor is a total waste of time I have to look at a paper for very long hours in the bed or whilst watching tv or thinking about it on a long walk etc.
As my discipline is very mathematical so a lot of thinking is involved which i cannot do in office for all sort of reasons.
PhD could be just a baby step further towards research as someone had written here not necesarily something which revolutionize the field...

@KEENBEAN. Thanks Wally for a Kalm..That was Cool. I hate Assuming things KB. This was Apparent from your Thread. I Think You Need to send that Guys brain with UPS to WallyThePeaSucker to do an Analysis ASAP. There might be a Big Ego Worm in it if his behavior is so Apparent that Everybody Notices it. May be he thinks that you have rejected him and disrespected him. There are all sort of Physcho's in this World. Give him some Kalms as well. But, be careful Emotions are dangerous if he is not Pretending plz...There are 15 other people in the lab as well I dont know why you so keen on him?
Leave the poor folk alone to live his life...
I do it in a kind of excitement I Believe that 'Now this is Achievable' and forget about it next day. Do you in excitement or despair?
IIntheHead: That is a fantastic thread. I joined to improve my knowledge and to feel how it feels like when you can analyze things mathematically and not scared of all those Einsteineans equations. My hair turning gray in the whole process and I think I achieved a stage where I can look through a right angle but found many critics. Those who cannot answer my questions and are not proving of any help and bring all those petty issues as a cover up. Its so saddening to see those empty people holding top research positions in universities who do not even qualify to teach at school level.
First of all it was a very sadistic thing to take this whole personal matter to the supervisor to humiliate him. And now to this forum. It was your responsibility to have kept the business n pleasure separate in first place. Don't try to drive this guy mad and try to resolve the issues through a mutual friend. I heard stories where issues like that go out of hand so abruptly and could become a dangerous situation.
