Ive got my upgrade soon and Im feeling so unconfident. Everyone keeps telling me how its a great opportunity to assess your progress and direction and make sure you are on track in the long-term. And that its just a formality. But so far my experience has already led to submitting my upgrade, having a meeting, having to re-write and re-submit. And now I have another meeting because there are still 'concerns'. I dont know what else they want from me. Any advice?!

I thought my transfer document was done and dusted but it seems to have highlighted about 5000 problems with my research and Im wondering if carrying on is really worth it! Have just had enough and Im fed up with having a supervisor who clearly thinks she can put me at the bottom of the pile whenever something else crops up. Ahhh. Rant over.

Im afraid I dont have any advice but if it makes you feel any better Im feeling the same way. Sometimes think Im going great guns and then seem to spend weeks achieving absolutely nothing. Weve just gotta hang in there I guess!
