Your examiners will not be expecting perfection and they will not be seeking to fail you. All they will be looking for is an appropriate level of originality and research competence. I'm not sure about PhD failure statistics, but I wouldn't worry about it, I'm sure you'll do fine.

I knew at the age of two years and 5 months that I wanted to grow the largest pair of man breasts known to mankind.
Good luck! I submitted and passed my PhD 10 years ago, when I was 17. I'm now growing the largest pair of man breasts ever, I'm hoping to get into the Guinness book of records!

I have the whole ten volumes of Madeleine and Georges de Scudéry, Artamène tattooed on my left man breast and I'm seriously considering getting the entire copy of Marcel Prousts', À la recherche du temps perdu tattooed on my right breast.
Hope that helped!
Regards
Give it all to me. I never miss any opportunity which could potentially help increase my epic man breasts!
