Hi, i just been offered a place for a master in marine engineering in southampton. I am probably gonna get a 2.1 in undergraduate degree (mechanical engienering). the only problem is i can't afford it unless i get some sort of funding. i have not found anything yet so please can anyone help? (i already check and the uni dont fund this master.

Unfortunately, probably not Tammy. I've been reading this forum man and boy and posts like this come up very (VERY) regularly. Hardly any seem to find funding. You may want to read back through the forum for similar queries any their ideas. Bottom line, it will probably come down to some combination of borrowing/working. Sorry.

Yep, unless the Uni says there's funding (NERC etc) its probably going to be a bit tricky...
