I'm an international student pursuing higher studies in the field of Finance. I have been admitted to both Cardiff University (MSc Finance) as well as University of Tampa (M.S. Finance). I'm having a hard time deciding which one to choose.

I'm being sponsored to pursue both a Master's degree and a PhD. My main criteria:

* International Experience
* PhD Prospects
* University Reputation

Consider whether you like rain and cold for 6 months - 9 months of the year, or 30C+ for most of the year.

My personal opinion:

If you plan to purse your PhD in the states, go to Tampa, however if you want to pursue your PhD in the U.K you might want to stick to Cardiff.

You may also look at future job (academic/non-academic) prospects in the U.S. and U.K.
