master development economics; Manchester, SOAS, Sussex or East Anglia?

V

Hi everybody,

I would need your advice.

I have received an offer from Manchester, SOAS, Sussex et East Anglia to study for a Master's in development economics and I am unsure about the reputation of these programmes/unis in the field of development economics and how they are considered by development professionals or academia (in case I would want to do a PHD later on). Also does anybody know in which one I would get the most opportunities to continue onto a (funded) PHD. I will have to choose one, but really don't know which one. What do you say?

Thank you all in advance for your help!

Hi,

My personal choice in order of pref would be: Manc, SOAS, Sussex then East Anglia. Partly because of the costs of living in London...
