I'm currently in my 4th year of Chemistry in the UK and am looking for PhDs in Europe for next year. The trouble is I have no idea where to look. I have used findaphd.com but it has very few PhD's in my subject area (photovoltaics) and none outside the UK.

I've started to look at foreign university websites but often they aren't written in English so I have trouble finding any information at all

Does anyone know of any resource that might be useful in finding PhDs outside the UK?

perhaps it's worth informing with the scientists whether they have positions etc?
