hello everyone,

am very new to Endnote so excuse me if this question is very basic. I've done one of my chapters using Endnote and now i want to use it for the rest of the chapters of my thesis. Do i open a new library or do I use one library for the whole thesis?

One library for everything, otherwise you'll get lost in which database is which, duplication of references, the need to check more than one library etc.

The Biochemistry theses I've flicked through in our lab have all the references at the end together alphabetically and makes finding one easy as you just go straight to the back.

Definitely just one library - it'll make your life much easier. I have one gigantic EndNote library (copied over from an existing subject library that had loads of the same references that I need) and use this for everything - all documents, presentations etc. Good luck! EndNote can be a bit of a pain at the start to set up but great in the long run.
