To everyone who says they feel guilty for doing nothing--you are no tdoing nothing, you are incubating innovations in your brain!!! =))

H

Methinks, olivia, you have WAY too much time on your hands!

B

Does Olivia ever do any work on her PhD? Will she still be posting in 4+ years time?

Taking bets now!

J

Guys, please be gentle to Olivia. It's not easy to move to the UK from a different country and culture. I speak from experience.

R

Wow there are some nasty people on this forum

Pay no attention olivia

H

Hear hear, olivia's posts keep me sane.

E

totally agreed--keep the laughs comin olivia!

O

I am happily, pleasantly, and mostly stress free right on pace with the PhD, thanks for the concern! I realize that a quick mental break can be vital when doing research or writing, and a quick visit to this forum is often enough to re-fire the synapses and take off again. Sometimes there are those paragraphs or sentences that can only be ingested in small bites, and you need to let your brain "breathe" in between. That, and it helps to be able to type at about 100 wpm.
