I have an interview for a very competitive program. Problem is, they are asking for a 'short 5 slide presentation'. What should I include in the presentation? they say it is optional but i think they really want to see one...

Hiya Nisot! I definately think you should do the presentation. I was asked to do a 5 minute presentation at my phd interview and I think it played a big part in me getting my phd studentship. However I was given a topic to present on. If you havent been given a topic maybe present on the topic of the phd research or a research area you are interested in? I think all they want to see is whether you are a good communicator, confident and capable of critically analysing information and presenting it. Make sure you keep it is as short and succinct as possible. Hope this helps! Best of luck!
