Due to ill health, I couldn't do well in my masters. Is it possible to get PhD with poor transcripts or another masters is only an option for me?

Do you mean you failed or that you passed, but with a low grade? I imagine failing could pose a problem, but not a low passing grade.

Many thanks for a reply. I passed but with poor grades. Transcript looks quite scarry. There is one F3 and few D.
But I did manage to find a job in public sector and noe have 3 years post master expereince and some fantastic references.

I wouldn't worry too much about your transcripts. If everything else is positive you should be fine. If you have an interview and it comes up you can explain that it was due to ill health, etc. Best of luck applying. :-)(up)
