Hello... this is my first post here...

I have been offered a PhD scholarship in Prague, but in forums I have found that it is roughly 16000CZK. Looking for info on the cost of living there, I have seen that the average salary is about 25000CZK...

Is it very low, or I am just doubtful??

Can someone tell me something about this? I am afraid that I am going to starve with such a low salary...

I'm not sure about cost of living in Prague, but to compare this with UK amounts, average annual salaries in the UK are £25,000 but PhD stipends are only £14,000 (although non-taxable), so it's normal to have stipends much lower than salaries.

You should find out more about the cost of living in Prague, average rent etc and whether the amount you will receive is taxable.
