Hi I am a biology PhD student trying to get samples from Taiwan but I think I need a permit to do so. I have tried to contact various people to find out but keep hitting dead ends. Does anyone have any experience with this that could offer me advice?

Thanks I should have mentioned I have the import licence to get into the UK but am still having a trouble with the export permit from Taiwan.

Did it a few times with both plasmids and cells, albeit from the USA and Europe. We just used FedEx and didn't fill out any special forms -- not sure if that's always ok but worked for me.
