Dear sheyna
never and ever made a mistake to send a paper to any conference without approval of your supervisor as the points and issues that a supervisor knows and the experience that he/ she has is not comaparable with that of yours. we being students have a number of mistakes that only the supervisor who is guiding us can correct. so its my humble suggestion not to send anything without having a look by your supervisor

Thank you, guys, for your replies! I did have a second supervisor but she took a maternity leave a few weeks ago. Well, will just try to grab my main supervisor once again.
