Anyone heard of the SMC online PhD? Are these type of products (online taught PhD's) gaining any credibility? Thank you very much

Theres not much information when you google, which should make you wonder.

I found one forum where they were discussing it as a degree mill.

It would probably be better to go to a proper university.

Sounds like an Open University-style programme (though I don't think they offer PhD study online?). Still, I'd plump for a better known University where you can actually physically get stuck into your studies, as opposed to only doing it through a computer screen.

Try a more reputable university...like Belford

The Belford joke is running on empty. Why not try to contribute for a change?

To be fair she does [and has] lots. That said the joke was funny the 1st time....even the second...probably not the 100th plus time.

I'm starting to feel a bit bad for the people we lambast with the whole Belford thing...
