I am an international student who does not want to switch to full time studies and live under Tier 4. My university is in London and my research is region/country specific outside Europe. My university sent me email saying they can not continue me on part time and i have to switch to full time after a month of enrollemnt. I didnt want to study full time and intended to use student visa to visit UK for meetings with my supervisor. The university seems interested in switching me to full time so i pay international fees. Is there anyone who is an international student (non- EU) and studying part time? Please let me know how you do it.

Unfortunately you have to study full time in order to be granted with student visa, there is no other way I am afraid.
Studying part time with student visa generally is not allowed, but you should always check with the UKBA for the latest requirement.
