Hi! I am currently doing my phd in Sweden. I am not from EU, so I need visa to enter UK.
One professor, close friend of my supervisor, invited me to UK for a couple of weeks to share some knowledge and experience.

I am totally confused about the visa I should apply for. Should I apply for Academic visiror or Business visitor?

Hi Lafur, both visa types allow you to come to the UK for a certain time according to the length of your visit (mentioned in the invitation letter maybe) and for up to 6 months, and none of them will allow you to have paid work. For me, they do the same job but if you are expecting to do some practice, the academic visa may suit most. Good luck!
