im now doing my MSc and i want to apply for PHd .Can any one tell me .when to apply for a PHd and since im a overseas student i like to know the ways for funding .

If you want to go for Oxford or Cambridge for most PhDs you have to apply in December if you want to start next year in Oct. Other universities start offering PhD positions around feb-may.
