Hi!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to apply different section headers for my thesis. I can put a single heading in, but it applies it to the whole of the document. I need to know how to put different headers for each chapter - can anyone help please? I am using Microsoft Word 2007. Cheers, Ginga x

apparently you need to put a section break after each section with one header so that the next header applies to the next section.

Yes, you need to put in a continuous section break, then with the header in the following page, click on the icon in the header toolbar which says 'same as previous'. Clicking on this enables the header to be different from the previous one. Then just type in the new header, and only that one should be affected.
