Prague is one of the most famous European cities. Located in the Czech Republic by the Veltava river is the biggest town and capital of the country. If anyone had chance to visit the city, walk along streets of its old town, know why it’s so famous.
Prague is simply stunning, the old town with its narrow streets, churches, and castles makes it one of the most beautiful and famous cities in the world. What a foreign student and a new person in town can do there? Well, one thing is learning, second, sightseeing, third, partying.
Learning. I’m studying in New York University in Prague, and it’s pretty good private, English language university. There is plenty of other education institutions, which are attended by tens of thousands of students, and more important, it all makes the city very student-friendly. Libraries, cultural institutions etc. helps a lot.
Sightseeing. Well, there is a lot to see. The most famous sites are old town with picturesque hill on the other side of Veltava River, which is historical sit of the Czech kings. The river banks are connected by a number of bridges, but the most famous one is Charles Bridge. Amazing view from the bridge makes it one of the most crowdy places in the city.
Partying. I’ve already mentioned that there are tens of thousands of students in Prague. There are also tens of thousands of tourists visiting Prague every day. It all makes the city one of the most vibrant party places in the whole Europe. Crowds of people are pub crawling, dancing in clubs, and simply having fun. Weekends in Prague rocks!
