Well if anyone does arrange a get together I'd be interested to come alone, I'm based between midlands and London.

I did try many many moons ago to arrange a "forum meet" from here but it never happened fro some reason which was a shame, as lots of people were up for it.

Hi all, I,m doing my PhD in plant sciences part time in Bristol but living and working fulltime in Ireland. Haven't met any other postgrads yet, even in Bristol! Only been on the forum here a few weeks but think its very good, got some good advice regarding referencing software from here.

Have been in SLovenia since meeting the lovely Natassia, and still am, so just catching up on things. Was wonderful to meet her. Yes, am up for a forum meet whenever :)

Okey Dokey!! I am (hopefully!!) going to the science/journalism debate in the Royal Institution in London in September, so I shall be about if there are any meets happening then! Is anyone else going to it?

It's on the 23rd, it's a Thursday evening. Which is also the last date I can submit, so I better have submitted by then!! Got the tickets anyway, just in case!! Looks like it's going to be good, I'm always jealous of the ones in London who can go to all the RI and Science museum events, there is loads of stuff happening!! :-)

Oh, I might well be coming through London then! I'll let you know if I can make it :-)
