How to write the research proposal in the applicaiton form? It requires a thesis title!
BTW I am an oversea with avg 86%, will graduate with 1st. but find not easy to get funding :(((

Hi, Shuo, in the application form you have to write your centrol topic of your research, i.e. what area you are going to explore. But it might not need to be long, because most of the depts ask for a separate sheet, on which you have to write your research questions, appraoches, methods etc. in detail. it can be from two pages to 2000 or 3000 words, if you are unfurtunate. This really depends on the unviersities.

86% is fine, because most of the depts only ask for 85%. Sorry I am not an expert in funding issues, and I, myself is a little confused as well; So, sorry, I am afraid I cannot give you more suggestions in this issue.

U r research proposal is the key...that defines ur area of interest. Elaborate the area as per ur strength...i mean the area in which u did ur graduation..A4 front and back is more than sufficient
