I really wnat to do a phd in marine biology but i dont have any idea on how to go about getting funding. I am expecting a 2.1 degree and have good references. Also, am i too late to apply?

You are probably not too late to apply, but, with all the scuba diving, whale watching, coral reefs and sea otters, marine biology is a very popular subject. Look for projects on this site and seek out the web sites of Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology and Zoology departments throughout the country (they don't all advertise with us and many don't advertise at all). Unless your first degree is in Marine Biology you may find the competition very strong, so get looking and applying now.
