Does anyone know if I can get a student loan for an MA in psychology?

I don't think the Student Loans Co. support masters students, but many banks offer "Professional Studies Loans" with deferred payment and favourable interest rates.

You can't qualify for a loan form the Student Loans Co. 'Career Development' or 'Graduate' loans available from high street banks aren't as good, but as 'Mr Big' points out they do provide deferred payment options and good interest rates. A "career development loan" would be available for master students. They are offerd by high street banks eg barclay's .

But the career development loan requires the study to be vocational. I wonder if we could talk our way around this clause? I too am in a predicament. How do masters students usually fund their courses? They're not exactly rare...
