I sent in an application over Easter and have heard nothing back yet. Application deadline past three weeks ago. How long do I have to wait for news?

don't really know. usually it takes a week for the letters to be delivered and sometimes loooooooooooong time for them to consider your application. so you v still got the opportunity to be accepted

i think if they don't accept your initial application, they sometimes wait until there aren't any more studentships coming up

You may well have to wait a long time, but if you've been waiting for over a month then nobody is going to think you're rude or pushy for sending them a note asking about the progress of your application.

I've been waiting more than 3 months for one of my applications, and haven't been given any feedback whatsoever, despite having specifically asked for some!
