But we're not just mere students anyway. Actually, we're postgrad students. I prefer to call myself just a student, but my supervisor went mad at the suggestion and said 'you're a post-graduate student!'.
Yes, I only have one knee.
Hehe, such impressive rhymes I admire,
more captivating than watching a salamander dance in fire,
but then I look at my printer,
it's white colour reminds me of winter,
I feel so depressed, I collapse to my knee,
so I cheer myself up by sucking on peas.
Please forgive the typos
Actually I do suck peas! I'm a champion pea sucker! Honestly. I can suck peas out of one bowl, with a straw, and transfer them to another bowl, with a shocking level of efficiency and ease. You should have seen the looks on the wimpy contenders' faces on one occasion when it became clear that I have transferred significantly more peas than them. From that day forth, I was known as Walminskipeasucker. I just wish I was as good writing my thesis.
Dun Dun Dunnnnn!
Get me the shotgun
How fxxking long does it take to transcribe an interview????! Yessir, it's going to be a late one for me tonight. Anyone else buring the old midnight oil, tooting the industrious call of the night owl, stoking the flames of the furness of intellectual persuit on a graveyard shift? Hmmm... Please let the transcribing end...
It's ok for focus groups. I've found that you need to set it to 2 channel, bi-directional. More or less caught everything but the volume is a little quiet.
Ah well, never mind. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'll let you know how I get on with it tomorrow. And, if it works well, I'll let you know what I set it to. And, if not, what not to set it to!
I certainly can't touch type - I'm a two finger typist. However, I don't feel that severely disadvantaged and I manage to get along fine. I wonder what it would be like to touch type though?
I Shani, I bought the Zoom H2 voice recorder based in what you said about it. I have a focus group coming up tomorrow and just wonder: what setting would be best to capture their voices? I've been playing around with it and I don't want to mess it up.
The champion is back to claim his rightful thone.
