I got my B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and because of my flare for IT, I proceeded for Msc in Information Technology then latter did M.Eng in Electronic and Communication Engineering. However, my desire for cybersecurity is compare to nothing else. i want to do a PhD now and my research area is Network security, Though I am desiring for an academic career on or before the PhD completed,
Which is worth doing? taking a PhD in Electronic and communication Engineering from a conventional university and researching on cybersecurity or taking a PhD in cybersecurity from an Open University.
