Literature Review Advice Request

S

Hi Everyone

I am working on a 5000 words literature review which is a one part of my MSc. requirements
the topics were instructed by my supervisor and I am working on each chapter separately for better focus.

My Literature review structure is as follows:
1- Abstract & Keywords (not included in word count)
2- Introduction (500 words)
3- Health Records Management (700 Words)
4- PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) (1200 Words, because my project & my background are relevant to it)
5- Electronic Health Systems Implementation (700 Words)
6- Change Management in Healthcare (700 Words)
7- Technology Acceptance in Healthcare (700 Words)
8- Conclusion (500 Words)
9- References

The supervisor dislike the style of [“Sentence” “Reference”] and I wrote to the extent of my capability to avoid that and to show a sense of critical analysis. Also, I committed my self to the most recent literature (the oldest reference dates back to 2000 unless justified).

May I ask if any body have any advice or recommendation?

T

Sounds reasonable to me. Personally I like using old references if they were important and then I add the more up to date references as well.
