Antibody for IHC and not western blotting

R

There is an antibody I would like to use....c-19 (against p35). I printed off datasheet but it doesnt mention how to use for IHC...my supervisor mentioned something about you should dilute the concentration needed for WB by 100 (I think) to get a rough idea of how much to use for the IHC.

I'm a bit new to IHC optimising etc, so any advice peeps?

I've only just started doing westerns, but isn't it the opposite? I've been diluting primary Abs at 1:1000-1:5000 for westerns but 1:100-1:500 for IHC. I'm sure you need a higher concentration for IHC compared to westerns

Hmm I might have bee mistaken then. Ok well thanks for your help, I'll clarify with my super tmw.
