Does anybody watch television through the internet or without an arial

D

and if you do how do you do it?

D

What channels you get BBC1, BBC2, ITV etc and is it legal?

D

I don't have an ariel and there is no socket?

A

It's legal if you have a TV licence!

D

Have one. Can it be done without an ariel though?

A

The TV card for the computer usually comes with it's own aerial.

D

Would that work even if an indoor one won't?

D

Does that work without an ariel?

A

What's with the aerial obsession?

D

It's a really bad reception here. So arials don't work too well now got one channel.

A

I'm afraid to say that if you are having difficult picking up TV signals with a normal aerial, you are likely to have similar problems with a PC TV card/aerial combo.

Have you considered Sky tv?

D

How would that work will an arial still be needed?

A

dee2005, please forgive me but I can't take the multiple spellings on this thread any longer

arial = a font
ariel = a UK brand of clothes washing products, the satellite of Uranus, name of Disney's Little Mermaid
aerial = existing or living in the air, a radio antenna
