I am from India and have 5 years of work experience in ASIC design. I have applied for PhD programme. I want to know about scholarships available for international students othe than ORS and the deadlines for the same. In case if I am unable to get the scholarship, is it possible for me to take part time job in some company?

Its possible to take a part-time job but impossible to support yourself with that. ORS is extremely hard to obtain. Occasionally some supervisors admit PhD students without regard to their nationality but thats rare.
