Does anyone know what the best sites are to register research projects (taking place in the NHS) online? I know there's one for clinical trials (http://www.controlled-trials.com/), but what about for qualitative and mixed methods research? I've had a look on Google but to no avail.

Hmm...well, I do my research in primary care and mine, a mixed methods exploratory study, is registered with the Primary Care Research Network (PCRN). I know that there's a cancer one. There are other ones too but can't remember them off the top of my head!
