I just found this site and it looked helpful. I am a student from Bhutan (Himalayas). I am interested in taking PhD study in Europe in the field of Conservation biology (Biodiversity, ecology, wildlife management, resource management, etc). I am looking for a fully funded project. So far I haven’t had much luck. Please help me if case anyone has such information.

Look in your own country for funding opportunities. Funding for non UK/EU students in the UK is virtually non-existent.

I already found a supervisor who is interested to work with me for PhD at Bristol University and there are lots of international scholarship, even EU appears to have those for people from the developing countries.

Rather flies in the face of expected logic re Intl. students and funding, but good luck with those anyway.

Bhutan is a beautiful country. I hope it will be able to conserve its uniqueness for future generations and not be destroyed by too many tourists.
