Reserve list for a PhD on a pandemic situation

M

Hi folks!

I am in a reserve list for a PhD for 15 positions. I'm the first one in the waiting list for the position that I applied for, but I can still be called to some of the other 14 positions depending on the another people on the reserve list. I don't know my general position, but the supervisor said that they will evaluate the CV of the reserve list.

Anyways, as can you see I'm very anxious. But I would like to know if you have some knowledge about the calling of the reserve lists in the pandemic situation, if the candidates are more up to sign the positions or they are more up to decline them.

I know my CV fits well to 6 positions, and I'm confident.

I just need an advice if will be posible for me to get some of the positions.

Thank you very much!

Hi mmv92,

Sorry about the delay.
So you are first reserve for one PhD and a possible reserve for another 14. I don't want to be rude but being a reserve for a single position isn't that much. I would keep applying elsewhere until you have a firm offer.

Hey, Rewt!

Thank you so much for answering my question.

Yes, first on the reserve list for a vacancy I know it is very difficult, but for the other vacancies, I am kind of confident.

I really hope some of it is over for me.

Thanks again,
