Hey guys!
So I got feedback on my intro early last week (only 12 comments and a few typos-so happy!) and have sorted that out- so the intro is done (bar re-writing my aims and objectives when I've finished everything else) so YAY!-1 section down!!
Also managed to send that results chapter draft to my sup on Friday. Still not finishes messing with the materials and methods but that's not a big deal at the min. Started generating figures for my other results chapters now and have to go into the lab tomorrow and Tuesday to get some last minute lab work done because my reagents took over 2 weeks to turn up. (I was supposed to be done in the lab on Wednesday)
So I would like to have most of my figures compiled this week for both chapters, as well as getting my last bit of lab work done.
Hope everyone else is on track.
Trin
I copy and paste the graphs into word/powerpoint just in case as well. You can export graphs into a few different file types as well.
I have access, pm me your email address and I'll send it to you.
I have access to all 3!
PM me an email address and I'll send them.

I use GraphPad Prism, which is really easy to use, but unfortunately I don't know how much it costs as the university provides it so they pay the license, I just have to put in a new code every year. Has your uni not got a computing services page where you might be able to see if they offer something similar for free to registered students? Thats how I got GraphPad, its available on the uni networked computers so they make it available to those working from home etc by requesting the download using our logins.
Best Wishes
Trin
I have access to both. pm me an email address to send them to.

Hey guys,
How is everyone? It's been ages since I posted an update
I've managed to get most of materials and methods sorted and referenced, just need to see someone next week that is going to help me understand how and why I've done certain things to analyse some data.
One of my results chapters is about two thirds done. Most of the figures are there, just need to retake some images and another figure as a result of the meeting I mentioned above, and sort out figure legends and need to do the little intro/aims and discussion for the chapter.
I've got a week and a half of lab work left and then I'm into full time writing, though I hope to have this results chapter and materials and methods pretty much sorted by then- so it'll be 2 results chapters, final discussion, appendices (I have quite a lot of stuff to put in appendices) and corrections on other sections to do (when I get them back).
Good luck guys. Hope you all manage get the stuff you have planned done!!

YAY! I finally got my draft intro sent to my sup.
Tane- I'm so glad you went. I knew the step back would help. I love doing that.
Liah- Yay for resolving your issue- its all progress.
Hope everyone else has had productive weeks.
Now that I have the intro out of the way I need to start working on results chapters, so I need to draft out/plan my figures so then I can write around them. So this week I need to get the first results chapters figures drafted and confirmed with my sup.
I also have a meeting with a non-lab colleague who I helped a couple of months ago with some lab work. I analysed her data and sent her the results but need to explain what I did to her for when she writes her own thesis.
And I have an informal meeting with someone in my uni about a job they have advertised so think I should read a few of their more recent papers to get a bit of background knowledge.
Keep at it everyone and hope you all had a good weekend.

Hey guys. (Btw i know my username is a bit long-i couldn't have just trinity so put the 'black' on to make it different so feel free to just use Trin :D)
My writing weekend wasn't too bad wanderingbit-thanks for asking. Although I did start getting a cold which I'm currently dosed up on medication for- not what I wanted I must admit.
Managed to finish writing my immune response section on Monday evening, well the text portion, just need to go through and reference everything through endnote, including downloading the reference files, and that is those done, only have about 3 sub sections to reference and they're smallish so will definitely be finished tomorrow, maybe even in between lab work.I have two more subsections to write and then I can give my sup a draft, do need to create a couple of figures though so I should be able to give him it either Friday or over the weekend.
wanderingbit:-Hope you manage/d to find a dress! Caterpillar:- How was the BBQ?
And please tell me you went to the beach and had some fun Tanemahuta?

My uni is upgrading its library systems but managed to find where the print version of this article is so no worries guys, there are more papers I need from the library anyway so will scan it in later.
Thanks to anyone who looked though!
