I think that sometimes our supervisors just find it easier to read and give feedback on shorter documents. I have sent you a PM - chin up you will get there! x
Done, literally a couple of minutes! Good luck with your research.
Hi, would be happy to do your survey but there is no link in your post.
I have completed both your surveys! Good luck with your projects ;)
Done - good luck!
I have done the questionnaire - only took a few minutes. Good luck with your research!
Even though you lost interest in the project, it must be lovely to have an mphil to show for your two years of hard work! Congratulations on passing your viva and good luck in your new job! (up)
I love posts like this!! I have been following your other posts Dr Stressed and am so happy for you. I look forward to the full viva story! Congratulations and well done!
Done - only took a couple of minutes (literally!)
Good luck with the dissertation (up)
It seems to be a lot to fit into one sentence so perhaps it should be broken down into maybe two or three sentences. Perhaps....“The emphasis is on the way they are seen to have extended their caring roles into the workplace, incorporating the characteristics of caring into their leadership approach. This caring style of leadership impacts on their personal lives as the issues they care about at work continue to concern them beyond the workplace.”
I am only at the pre-design stage of my survey so am learning very basic statistics but I find that Youtube has all sorts of useful academic presentations on it. It may be worth doing a quick search to see if any of your difficulties can be answered there.
This may be an obvious suggestion but you did say "any suggestion welcome" Good luck with your analysis :-)
Congratulations Dr Sneaks. Thank you so much for letting us know the outcome - the possibility of NO corrections is very inspiring! I wish you continued success and hopefully a chance to actually sit back and enjoy it!
I am a long-time lurker on this forum although I only started my PhD in October 2011. I feel that the forum has given me a really good insight into what to expect from my PhD as well as a connection with the regular posters here. I am sure I am not the only one who is waiting with baited breath to hear how Sneaks got on in her viva – I have everything crossed and hope that the result was good for someone who comes across as level-headed, funny and extremely competent! It has been said before but, it seems so harsh that several years of work is judged (and possibly condemned) in just a couple of hours. I hope that Sneaks’ ordeal is now over and she is so busy spending quality time with the important people in her real world that she simply hasn’t had time to pass on the good news.
How about UK:
Checked my Oxford A-Z of punctuation and it says if you are using the letters to represent words there is no need to use full stops
It opened and worked fine for me too (up)
