Hi

I saw two job ads this week. One at BlackRock as a Graduate Equity Analyst and one at Brooks Mcdonald as an Graduate Trainee Investment Management. I am personally very interested in the stock market etc. but don't really know what those two jobs would be like and if I have what it takes to be successful in them.

Any comment or opinion much appreciated!

To be honest, though, I don't know if you'll get an answer here. It's a bit of a specific question given that most of the questions here are more about courses and research than Graduate training schemes.

Have you contacted the companies to ask for more details, to get a better feel for what the roles involve?

I also found a graduate job at BlackRock as an equity analyst. Now I'm very interested in the stock market and the economy and it sounds interesting but what does it really take to survive there?
