Chocolate and tea...

E

...are my comfort foods to get through the long days of working. What's yours?
I have at times changed to herbal teas (some are good enough) and to fruits (can't really compete with chocolate!).
My only worry is how big I'm gonna be at the end of 3yrs of PhD with sitting my computer muching chocolate!

Try dark chocolate...I think its meant to be healthier. I eat nuts, and bombay mix.... With about 5 cups of tea a day!

E

Yeah dark chocolate is a good opion - i find that it's so strong I eat less of it but still get my sweet tooth content for a while...

J

I like Holland and Barrat stuff: dates, figs etc.

The only problem is the well-known effect on digestion: you don't want to eat too many figs in a confined space.

S

Thorntons Special Toffee...

ginger and lemon tea... (ginger has similar effects as coffee)

when i'm feeling good and don't need comfort food, it is more healthy stuff like dried fruit and nuts.

Mmm I want chocolate now.. my local 24 hr shop doesn't have and Green and Blacks grrr!

I like to have a mug of hot milk, and dip the dark chocolate in so it starts melting and then put it in my mouth......it takes away the bitterness. Sooooooooooo goood in bed with a dvd.
