I am a final year student at IIT Kanpur one of the most prestigious institute in INDIA.I am doing my Msc. in Chemistry and want to change to biotech and want to work further in the same field.Right now I have a job in IT industry.Will doing a Phd help me in future to get a better job?how should i look for a Phd position?Is it difficult to find a Phd in Europe?

It is very difficult for non-European students to find a PhD in Europe if they have no source of funding. Other messages on this site suggest some places to look for funding, but competition is very high. I'm afraid I don't know how having a PhD would affect your career prospects in India
