Hello

Hi everybody, I am a student looking for a Phd opportunity in Uk, and I am finishing my post-degree studies in Italy (Rome) in International Translation and Literature (similar to a post-graduate degree). After that I really want to experience new methods of studying and explore the English culture, due to this I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is difficult or easy for a foreign student to find a Phd concerning Linguistics or other field related to it in Uk, are there a lot of fully-covered Phd or I will have to find a job? Any sort of information will be very precious for me! Thank you

Hi Alisadixan

It might be wise to think about earning some money in the UK, whatever kind of PhD you decide on.

Translating or language teaching, working part time for a college or as a private tutor are obvious starting points. Language skills can be in short supply here.

Good luck
