Passed VIVA with minor correction this Wednesday(Finally). Since I come abroad, my current job kind of depend on my PhD degree. I just want to know what's normally period in your institution to actually get a degree after VIVA. I just wonder about if I could have to wait for next graduation date for that (in December) or I can get it right after all administrative process finished?

You normally officially get your degree when the 'powers that be' send you a letter to say you officially passed your PhD - up to that point you can't officially call yourself 'Dr'. You don't have to wait until graduation usually.
