Hi all

I have an interview for a sociology/criminology lecturer next week and I'm asking if anyone would have any supporting advice?

What kinds of questions are they likely to ask for such a post? I have to deliver a presentation as part of the interview also.

I'm not sociologist or criminologist but they will definitely ask you the usuals:
1) Why do you think you are suitable for this job?
2) What skills would you bring to this job?
3) What makes you special as a candidate?

As for the presentation they may want to test your knowledge of technical issues but more importantly assess your communication skills/ adaptability in a lecture setting.
