Moving tables from SPSS to Microsoft Word

Z

Hi all!
I'm running into difficulty trying to copy and paste tables from SPSS output into Word - creates huge tables with the headings all out of alignment. Any advice?
Thank-you!

I think if you double click on the table in spss and then right click you can get a menu that somewhere on it says 'export' and then you can export into a word doc. Someting like 'export to word/rtf'??

ok, on the SPSS output window, there is a symbol with a green arrow - you should be able to do it through there (on SPSS 18 anyway)

What Sneaks said. :-) It should be the same for most SPSS versions. I'm on 14 at home anyway, and 17 at work and it's the same process. The only problem is, as you're probably finding out, is that word and SPSS don't always play well together. To that end whenever we teach undergrads about report writing and spss we tell them to make their own tables, as they look better than the spss ones, and to refer to the output's in the appendicies if they need to. They can be a lot uglier in the appendicies :-)

Thanks very much! (up)
