My book has been published and I mentioned my supervisor in the aknowledgments. Today I am going to give her her copy. What should I write on the first page? Should I sign the book? Also,what should I write on the first page of the jurey members' copies?

Wow - this must feel so good! Personally, I wouldn't write anything or sign it, I would just give the book as she/he is already acknowledged in the acknowledgements.

Think it is completely down to personal preference though. If you feel like writing something, write it! :)

Thank you Tudor for your reply. I read in several websites that I should sign it. I mentioned all the jurey members in the acknowledgment, however I wrote on the tilte page "to Prof. ....., with kind regards, Emma". I hope this is okey!!
