Hi guys,
I've just started my PhD in archaeology, my savings are just enough to pay for the fees this year, I know I shouldn't start without a basic capital but sometimes you opportunity knocks on your door just once in a lifetime, anyway, I am desperately in finding funding, any funding from anywhere. I tried my School but there is no funding sources there, AHRC etc has already awarded the money and of course its hard to get through there too.
Any ideas, even for small amounts are welcomed

Hi Islandish, try the Arts and Humanities Funding Forum for a list of charities/bursaries available. Alice, who runs the forum is very kind and helpful- you might want to email her or start a separate thread there.

Where are you studying archaeology?
I'm an archaeologist I maybe be able to give you some hints...
