I am thinking of applying for a PDF in Canada after I graduate. Does anyone know if external funding, such as SSHRC, is the only option available in the humanities? I understand that a PDF can also be funded by the supervisor's grant or the university but I would expect this doesn't happen too often in our area. Can anyone suggest anything?
Finally, could you please write anything about your experience as a PDF in Canada?
